So I recently came across some great books worth mentioning since the kids and I do a LOT of reading, both all by ourselves and with each other. I'm a total book addict and I think I've successfully turned them, too;-) Sometimes I'll be missing my 2yo because she's just a little too quiet. Most moms would panic because this means they're surely into something they shouldn't be, right?
Well, not over here (thank goodness!)- she's usually just sitting somewhere quiet, like hidden behind the couch or in her room with the door ajar, flipping through a series of books she's yanked off the shelf. Gotta love it!! Anyway, here they are:
Something for Kids:
Nabeel's New Pants: An Eid Tale Retold by Fawzia Gilani-Williams
Potty Animals: What to Know When You've Gotta Go! by Hope Vestergaard (you will laugh your behind off, literally!)
Something for Mom:
Sea by Heidi R. Kling on Twitter @heidirkling
The Twilight Saga by Stephenie Meyer http://www.stepheniemeyer.com/
